Monument Restoration
Vicksburg National Military Park and former park lands exhibit of 1300 statues, busts, relief portraits, monuments, markers, and tablets collectively regarded as one of the most extensive collections of outdoor art in the world.  Preserving these historic features requires the park to carry out a comprehensive program of routine maintenace and restoration every five years.  Read More

Pemberton's Headquarters in Vicksburg National Military Park
Pemberton's Headquarters is a National Historic Landmark.  The building today remains in structurally sound condition; however, elements of that condition have deteriorated and will continue to do so. Full rehabilitation and operation will enable visitors to experience a Confederate General's headquarters, his development of military stategies, and to learn about the life of Vicksburg citizens before and after the war.  Read More
